Hello there, I have only recently started to pray to hades and i was wondering if you could give me any tips or advice on how to pray to hades proberly and make him listen to you?

Historically, Hades was generally called on during funerals or when trying to contact the dead; he did not have a lot of temples compared with some of the other gods, and I believe it was more common for folks to approach Persephone with regard to underworld matters.
What would be proper now for you, though, would depend in part on your own feelings about religion–whether you take a strictly reconstructionist approach, or are syncretic, or eclectic. Different things work well for different people.
For a modern devotee, I would say that approaching him respectfully and honestly would be the key things; however, as I am not a particular devotee of Hades (although I do honor him) you could probably get better advice from someone who is. In any case, you can’t go wrong with prayer and meditation.

Thank you so much for this! I have recently started praying to the gods, but entered this religion a couple years ago, and I was so lost. (Trying to cope as a polytheist in a mostly Christian middle school is hard!) Now I am starting to write my own prayers and even create melodies for hymns!
